DSCF1385-3final5x7Xanthe began her journey as a therapist when she qualified as a Reflexologist in London in 2002 her qualification is accredited by the Association of Reflexologists, AoR(UK), of which Xanthe is a full member.

Soon after qualifying Xanthe emigrated to New Zealand and joined Reflexology New Zealand Incorporated (RNZ). Xanthe is a past President, Secretary and Vice President of RNZ. In 2017 Xanthe was awarded Reflexologist of the year and in 2020 she became a Life Member. RNZ is affiliated to Natural Health Practitioners of New Zealand (formerly the New Zealand Charter of Health Practitioners) and its members are able to arrange insurance and apply for membership to NHPNZ. The strength of RNZ is in its regional groups around New Zealand and Xanthe is a member of the Christchurch based Southern Reflexology Group (SRG), which is a group of practicing reflexologists who meet regularly to support each other, attending Festivals and Expos to promote reflexology and organise courses to assist with upskilling. Xanthe is a Registered Natural Therapies Practitioner with Natural Health Practitioners New Zealand for the modalities of Reflexology, CranioSacral Therapy, Remedial Massage and Fascial Kinetics (Bowen).

As well as having her own practice, Xanthe enjoys teaching natural therapies including; Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and CranioSacral Therapy. Xanthe was a tutor at the Canterbury College of Natural Medicine based in Christchurch teaching both introductory and Diploma level courses from 2004-2010 until the Diploma courses were discontinued. Xanthe also taught Anatomy & Physiology and Pathology for the College of Natural Health and Homeopathy at their Christchurch based campus from 2012-2016. Xanthe now teaches her own workshops in Reflexology and Indian Head Massage and is an Instructor for the Upledger Institute teaching CranioSacral Therapy.

Xanthe has Diplomas in Body Massage and Indian Head Massage, accredited by the International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies (IIHHT) and is a member of Massage New Zealand (MNZ).

Xanthe practices CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation and is the New Zealand Satellite for the Upledger Institute and is a Diplomate Certified in CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute.
